Crawl Space Insulation
Insulating the crawl space of your home or office can make a significant impact on your energy costs, protecting the interior of your home from drafts and extreme temperatures. You’ll lose less heat and cool air from the interior through the floor, too.
We use batting to lay in the insulation, an R19 FSK foil-faced fiberglass product that is cost- and energy-efficient. This is installed wall-to-wall throughout the crawl space, and sealed at the joints between the top of the walls and sills. After the crawl walls are completed, we install a vapor barrier on the crawl floor to ensure a strong seal.
